Idk excatly. I don't think that you can sell options on IG and get a premium for it or can you?

each CFD broker is not that transparent in spreads, price fluctuation and creation,...
the most fair value you get on options and futures exchanges (via options / futures brokers and not IG or CFD Broker)

Yes you get the premium, I sell monthly puts on sp500 with them and it works like selling normal puts

why you dont sell on options exchange? I mean they still charge u a spread or give some disatvantage. Otherwise a B-Book broker wouldn't survive
